Battle Electric was founded by Matthew Battle, a licensed New Jersey electrical contractor, to do one thing well: electrical work on Montclair's older and high-end homes. Most of the town was built before 1940, and that housing stock needs an electrician who understands it, not a generalist passing through.
In about a year, the business has grown by word of mouth from homeowners who wanted their historic house handled with care. The focus stays the same: replace aging knob-and-tube wiring and undersized panels safely, fish new wire through plaster where we can, and leave a documented job that holds up for inspections and insurance.
